Fees are based on the time it takes achieve a project's objectives.  Our fee rates are geared to meet the needs of small- to medium-sized businesses. 

 

Pre-Project

The pre-project process begins with a survey of selected managers and staff, to help us assess the client's needs and define the true nature of the "problem".  A written proposal or contract is prepared, based on these initial discussions and any other preliminary research that is necessary.  The proposal sets out the nature of the "problem" to be solved, the objectives and scope of the project, our approach to completing the project, and the arrangements for staffing, timings, fees and expenses.

Usually, there are no fees involved until a contract is signed.  Under certain circumstances - when very complex issues are present - we may carry out a preliminary diagnosis of the business, as the first phase of the project.  In this way we can identify the key issues for the client and the order of priority in which they should be tackled.

Project-in-Progress

Typically, our investigations involve a combination of:

interviews with management and employees;
interviews with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders;
market and desk research (i.e.  views of documentation, quantitative and qualitative analyses, Internet research, etc. 

During the project, we hold progress meetings regularly with the client.  We review the findings of our investigations and any issues arising.  We also debate options and solutions.  In this way, we avoid unnecessary "surprises" at the end of the project.  More importantly, we secure "buy-in" from management and staff.

Post-Project

Involvement with our clients does not end with completion of the project.  We continue to maintain a close relationship, to review progress in terms of implementing plans and recommendations. If the client wishes, we will also assist with executing the implementation plan.

We judge our success by the amount of repeat business we do with our clients.
